Jerry’s taking his Blue Star Land to Prosper

Blue Star Land heads North

And in case you’re not familiar with where Prosper, TX is……it’s just eight miles due north up the DNT from The Star in Frisco and will be known as the Gates of Prosper.

As we all know Blue Star Land, The Jones Families Real Estate development division, thinks through all aspects of a project. The initial  400 homes of the 1800 home development  in Prosper to be called STAR TRAIL will be supported by the $1 billion Gates of Prosper as noted above.

The 93 acre Gates of Prosper shopping center will be the first phase of the major mixed-use project and a Wal-Mart store will be included in the project. And going forward after the initial phase will be additional retail, offices, apartments and homes Prosper is one of North Texas’ fasting growing communities and currently has 15,000 residents and is expected to double in population in years to come.

TAKEAWAY:  It’s pretty easy to see for yourself the 1,000 acre Star Trails community as dirt is being scraped and the infrastructure for same is in progress along First Street and Prosper Trail just north of US 380 off of Preston Rd. Needless to say Prosper’s Robert Winningham, who heads the Prosper Economic Development Corp, is more than pleased with the quality of the development overall.  If you’d like to see what a one would call ‘a one horse town’ you need to go to downtown Prosper before that image is a history lesson in text books yet to be printed.
