Are Dallas Real Estate Prices falling or holding?

Real estate Prices Dallas, Plano and Frisco

I love these charts, I can put in any city or zip code and come up with
important real estate trends.  Better to be ahead of the curve than behind.
N’est pas?  Take a look at a few of our favorite cities Dallas, Plano and
Frisco.  From a year ago you can see how Dallas has increased in price
appreciation, substantially, despite the current market – Plano is holding
its own and Frisco is a little down based upon new home building and
inventory.   This Altos chart is a great barometer on current market
conditions through out the country – and you can get all info here since
we are a subscriber.  The charts used with MLS data are crucial to knowing
the state of any market.  So, you can relax if you’re concerned about your
home value.  Prices are holding in DFW.

you are either a builder, real estate agent, or bought a home with some exotic mortgage product. the dallas home prices are just like the dow jones. you will see a 30-50% correction in home prices in dallas.

Your blanket statement is not correct. Dallas is not CA,FL or Nevada. Real Estate is off but not that off. There are some pockets where builders, sellers, agents and appraisers inflated property values and there you will see adjustments, but they are few and far between. Knowledge and knowing the market is where you find the truth. Dallas market is one of the most affordable in the U.S. and that’s why people are moving here. Listening to main stream media doesn’t work here…
