So, what is it?

A local real estate blog that acts as a guide to help home buyers
and sellers with their next real estate decision.

Hi, my name is Terry Smith and my husband is Jerold. We are full time
Realtors®, specializing in residential and investment properties.
Graduated from Miami University in Oxford Ohio with a B.F.A. degree.
Worked many years in sales and executive management positions for
major retailers before real estate. Have lived all over the country and
traveled extensively. Native Texans and Dallasites. (is that a word?)

I love real estate (the profession) and technology (the hobby) have been
combining the two since 2001 and have never looked back. I love Dallas
and it’s communities and neighborhoods and have watched it grow.
Have friends and family all over the metroplex and very active and
involved in the new arts district. Enjoy showing our town off and giving
the 10 cent tour, although it’s probably worth a lot more than that. I sell
all types of homes: new construction, condos, townhomes, resale and
investment. Jerold concentrates more on the investment side.

I work in the communities and neighborhoods close to the tollway that
run from Uptown to Frisco. Called the Golden Corridor by old school
standards. Grew up in North Dallas, live in West Plano and have a lot
of information to share. Maybe more than you need to know, but I
believe too much is never enough.

Started Plano Real Estate Blog in August 2006 and have met so many
wonderful people from it, I decided to do a Dallas Blog too. Visitors have
turned into readers and clients and have made the whole experience an
extension of helping and learning from each other. (I have a minor in
psychology.)

I can’t think of a better or more valuable tool as connecting online through
information. As you might guess my sites are an extension of my arts
background, elementary geekness and love of real estate, photography and
the Dallas area in general.

This site is dedicated to helping home buyers and sellers learn about the
many real estate processes, find homes, comment and share their own
experiences and encourage an open and honest discussion about the
complex world of real estate. It’s also about real estate marketing online
and the shift that is occurring in buying or selling your home. Bring it on.
